The Elevator

by Dan-Constantin Gurgui (Romania)

1. "The Elevator" or "Liftul" in the Romanian language,  is a fairy condition, its representation is reassembled by indicating the chess board columns, from "a" to "h", which the white and/or black pieces are positioning to change or lower and position.
In a chess problem, there may be at least one column called generic "elevator" and no more than seven. These columns, called "elevator", are not allowed to have any other white and/or black pieces that prevent the moving pieces from being moved or lowered to make a move.
Moving a bishop onto a column called "elevator" will not allow him to change his color, he will retain the color of his original square.
The problemist will have to avoid the duals obtained by positioning the pieces on several fields of the "elevator" column.
"Zero positions" and other fairies conditions are allowed.

2. It is forbidden to capture the pieces along the column. The pieces that can not be captured will be considered buffer pieces.
In diagram 1, after Sc3-b1 and Bd3-b1 is forbiden the capture of wPb6. The Sb1 and Bb1 dont go up to b7 and b8 because the wPb6 is a buffer piece. Are legal move only Sc3-a4(d5)-xb6.
